Forest School Family Day - 3 February 2019. The origins of basket-making?
 


Winter returns to the woods for the first Forest School session of 2019!
 


A second solar panel fitted for generating power for lighting, water-pumping and charging tools.
 

The southern roof of the utility shelter completed with Sweet Chestnut
shakes Shakes are produced by cleaving, whereas shingles are produced by sawing.
. The shakes have been hand-made by Andy and volunteers from Sweet Chestnut grown and processed within the woodland.
